Academic Marathon @ APHA Conference

Last week I ran the NYC Marathon, this week I’m doing another “marathon” at APHA by presenting my research on 3 topics: the need for Black & Hispanic research scientists, the Trump Administration & widening health disparities, and mentoring needs for MSW & MPH students. My mother, Fatima, came to support me and we shared a hotel room. That was an interesting experience!
